Erika Hentschel

Hello everybody!

My name is Erika, but you can call me Eri. I’m 18 years old and this year I passed my A-Levels. It’s my third participation in the youth exchange here in Germany and I also was in the exchange last year in Israel. I really love your country and that’s because I will start to study Jewish Studies in October.

I love languages and I hope you can teach me a little more Hebrew J. Dancing is my life and everything else that has to do with music. Taking photos is also a passion of mine.

I have an older brother, who is studying in Freiberg at the moment.

Hope we’ll have a good time. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all.

See you in august.

Rico Schütze

Hey folks,

My name is Rico and I’m 19 years old. I just passed my A-Levels and I’m going to study physical technic at the beginning of autumn. I’m very interested in science and love it to do crazy experiments.

For 5 years I’m doing traditional karate. My favorite genre is metal and I also like to visit concerts or festivals.

It’s the first time that I take part in an exchange, but I hope that we’ll all have fun together ;).

Keep on rocking!

Last but not least: the team-totem-pole.

The guy with the enlarged forehead on the top is Ulf from Dessau. He works for the Sportjugend Sachsen-Anhalt. It is his first exchange and he already is in charge.

The girl on the bottom is Chrissi. With her 22 years, she is currently finishing her Middle East Studies in her hometown Halle and starts studying Modern Judaism and Holocaust Studies in Germanys most beautiful city, in Berlin.

The dude in the middle is Sascha. He was born in Dessau 22 years ago and studies Mathematics and Computer Science in Dresden, Germanys most beautiful city. He intends to graduate there next year.

Our hobbies are pretty similar, we all enjoy inline-skating and geocaching in the summer and skiing in the winter. Chilling out in general or reading and watching funny internet-videos is also an option when the weather is bad. Good music plays an important role in our lives, preferably live music on concerts.

We are all excited and looking forward to meeting you!
